Born April 15, 1985 in the swamps of Louisiana and raised amongst the tall pines in south Georgia since the ripe age of 3, Heather Ireland is making her mark in the music industry. She began singing before she could say a complete sentence, started writing songs when she was 12, and playing guitar at 14. Heather has been fortunate enough to make a trip to Nashville to record a 4 song EP of her originals after catching the ears of Nashville Producer and small indie label owner, Tony Mantor where she left music city with a publishing and management contract in hand.

Heather has since formed her own band (Heather Ireland & Poplar Road) and has began playing vigorously all over the south Georgia and north Florida region. She has opened for Shane Owens, The LoCash Cowboys and Girls Girls Girls. With a demanding stage presence, determination to make a career in music and talent to boot, Heather Ireland is sure to be a name rolling off the tongues of millions in the near future.

Busy: Hey you guys! Long time no hear, huh? I apologize, but life has just been crazy as most of you can relate. Undoubtedly it has been quite a while. I thought it would be great to drop in and give all of you an update. As of a few months ago, I am now part of an acoustic duo. The other guy in which I play music with is Ronnie Avery, who is also a very talented singer/songwriter/guitarist from here in south Georgia. I hope to get into a studio soon to record some new material. I am sure you guys are tired of hearing the same old tunes. I am working hard to get things on the right track musically. Need to get a deal!: Wow! I'm still learning how to work this site. Blogging is new to me so bare with me. I am really struggling right now at this point in my life. Everything is falling apart! I don't want to go into detail, but getting my songs into the hands of the right person at this point would get me out of the mess that unfortunately I was unlucky enough to be born into.
