Clear Channel Sucks: So I was reading on FOXNews.com this morning that Clear Channel has banned their stations from playing any singles off of Bruce Springsteen's new album "Magic". This has burned my ass big time. Clear Channel has pissed me off in the past - but this is the biggest load of sh*** ever. Who are they to decide that just because Bruce is 58 he can't make good music anymore. This probably explains why I haven't heard any new music from John Fogerty's new album on my local stations either. Or Tom Petty or Neil Young's most recent releases...Clear Channel radio obviously sucks - and they have a monopoly practically. So I guess I'm going to have to get satellite radio (or just a faster internet connect...

The Last Record Store: I was thinking as I picked up my mail the other day, and had recieved a new CD in the mail; that I miss going to the "record store" and picking up CD's. It used to be so fun to get there on the day a long awaited disc would come out. But now I don't even have that option. Other than giving my money to Wal-Mart or Target for albums. I don't have any music stores close by now. There used to be 2 Sam Goody's, but they are both out of business now. So I have had to resort to buying my music on the internet.
