Tearjerkers were a punk band from Northern Ireland in the late 1970's. The where signed to Phonogram Record in the UK and Mercury in the States. They released a cult single on the Belfast Good Vibrations record label and several records with Phonogram's Back Door Records.

This site offers an opportunity for music collectors to download the Tearjerkers long lost studio album entitled Sessions as the record was recorded both in London's Radio Luxembourg's studio but also in Parkgate Studio in Sussex as well as Belfast's Downtown Studio's.

I have also in 2008 uploaded the John Peel Sessions ... recorded for the legendary BBC Radio One DJ these session played an important part in getting the TJ's to a wider audience.

Free Album: After the Tearjerker split in 1980 three members formed an altogether different group still with Paul's distinctive vocals but this time with fewer songs about girls and greater musical and sonic experimentation. Presented here on Soundclick as a free download is a cassette released in 1981 by the group. These songs where recorded in Belfast's Downtown Studio's. Four of these songs are from an early session in 1980 and have been recovered from cassette tape the remaining tracks from our second session have been lifted from reel tape.
