What is GO FOR 2 ?

It started at the end of the 70's when Olli & Günni began to rehearse as a guitar duo. They loved to play free (get a theme and starting to improvise over it) they added some cover songs and enjoyed to party at bonfires, several small clubs and parties. Later on they started adding bass and drumcomputer to their music to sound like a band. Their best friends were two REVOX tape-recorder, a Yamaha RX5 and some Sennheiser mics to arrange and record their music somewhere in a living-room that was free to use (no parents disturbing them lol)...

A few years later both of them had house, wife, car and some career and everyone went his own way with his little family. In 2005 - both were divorced in the meantime they met each other and had the idea to check whether they can do the same thing as mor than 20 years ago. What followed was great joy with the music and they enriched each other with all the experiences they made with music each the time before.

In the meantime digital recording, VST-plug-ins, stepp arrangers were developed and they found a way to realize their visions of music that once was nearly impossible or not to pay. So they changed wave-files and added tracks but - because of the little time both had - met only once a month to share what they did. But the joy they had with their stuff was the motor to set new prioities in their lives, so they decided to start a new project
