Gabrielle Price is a seasoned photographer with over 20 years experience. Growing up in a household of artistic people, both her parents are traditional watercolor and mixed media artists and her father is a musician. Generations of folk and craft art have been passed down, including music, which greatly influences her photography. Gabrielle purchased her first camera in England in 1986 and she's been in love with the art of photography ever since. She works from her home studio in the historic district of Indianapolis, known as Fountain Square. She is currently developing a house concert series and photography gallery, called The Road Home that benefits two national music charities, Road Recovery and Sweet Relief. Also a drive-in theater buff and pop culture fanatic, Gabrielle is thrilled to be documenting in words as well as photos and film, the Indy Kick's It on Route 66 tour. (www.myspace.com/indykicksitonroute66tour) Setting out with 3 musicians in September, this collaborative musical story will be released as a documentary DVD - to bring awareness to our country's infrastructure and the hopes, dreams and courage of heartland American's who are thriving during this time of recession. Gabrielle hopes you'll follow us along the Route - from Illinois to California and listen to WCER for more details!
"I look forward to working with the great staff at WCER!"
