I'm a true blue ACSian who completed my tertiary ed in Adelaide. Now back in S'pore, just finished my national service and looking to begin worklife.

I recently heard an audio sermon by RC Sproul which got me thinking more about Jacob. What about Jacob captured God's attention such that he became one of the key figures in His plan? Was he a 'super saint'? Blameless and holy? By no means.. Just recall how Jacob 'earned' Isaac's blessing. It was by tricking his brother, then lying straight to his father. I mean his name literally means "he deceives"! Further down the track we find Jacob trying to get more blessings for himself... this time from his heave...
