Worked as a full time cover band musician from '75 to '89. then got out of music all together. Didn't touch an instrument again until '08. My old friend, soundclick member Pinedog, got me back into it and recording. Feels great to do my own music now and share it with the fine songwriters here.
No profound message, just simple love songs dedicated to my fellow fragile hearts. thanks for stopping by, Gabe.
p.s. I am priviliged to have a talented son, Dan, who plays on some of the songs. see the notes on the music page.

Greetings!
I've been fairly inactive on SC in a while and it's not going to improve anytime soon. So much to do musicwise ...
I have remixed and mastered first 30 or so of my pieces and they do sound better.
This one is new.

"In The Morning"...is classic my friend. Could really relate to it. Musically it's what I call "Real Music"...melody, tasteful instrumentation, words that one can understand easily, and very smooth production too.
peace,
Brett

Hi Gabe! I just listened to In The Mornin' and those keys your son contibuted sound sweet! I like the soft strum on the acoustic guitar...the word that comes to mind is "silky", nice. The drums added to just the chorus works great at elevating the song there. Good vox and lyric as always! Enjoyed the listen.
