Currently, Jason holds the trumpet chair in saxophonist Grace Kelly’s quintet. With this quintet, Jason has performed at the Tanglewood Jazz Festival, Sculler’s Jazz Club, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center (D.C.), and the Jazz Bakery (L.A), Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola. From 2004 to 2006, Jason Palmer was a member of Blue Note recording artist Greg Osby’s quintet. With this group, Jason has performed at major jazz festivals in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, France, Malta, Netherlands, as well as two stints at the Village Vanguard in New York City. In January of 2007, Jason Palmer had the great opportunity to perform with hip-hop artist Common on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
