Welcome to my SoundClick page! I have been a Christian for over 30 years now- but have only been a serious musician for about 10 years. I have tried to play piano since I was a child but could never "get" it because I play by ear. I asked the Lord to help me, and if He did, I would play for Him. Now He's been giving me all these beautiful songs. When I started getting so many, I felt like the Lord wanted me to share them. With God's help, maybe someone will come to know Him through them. With my Lord's help, 99% of the songs here are written, sung, harmonized, and played by me. I give Him all the credit, because I am nothing without His love and guidance. River of Life is a collaboration with myself, Barry Scahill, and my brother, Bill Walsh. A very special THANKS to Wendy, our daughter in law, for allowing me to use the awesome cloud picture of a cross she took one day. God will use anything to get our attention! LOL!! And a HUGE thanks to my brother, Bill, for all the help working out the "kinks" with my Boss recorder. Also, TREMENDOUS thanks to my hubby, who has to listen to my songs in various stages. He is my biggest fan and listens to my songs every day! I wouldn't be the musician I am without his love and daily encouragement!!! THANKS MY LOVE!!! And, thanks to my Lord and Savior for His guidance, His songs. I AM LOVED BY HIM!!

My precious granddaughter is sleeping right now! God Bless her!:
She is truly a light in our lives and a real blessing to us. Watching her while her parents work is wonderful. She is happy most of the time. She is 4 months old and is so aware of everything. Her granny is letting her play on my keyboard while I sit with her. I found a midi program for my tablet that shows the keyboard, which keys to play, and the music for the song under it. She is FASCINATED with it!! Hoping she learns more than I did!!

I am watching one of my grandchildren, so been pretty busy.:
It's only one or two days a week, but it's amazing how that changes the whole schedule we had going, LOL! I love watching the baby so I will not complain. I am thankful to God that we are allowed to spend some time influencing one of our grands.

My Dad died last year. Some of you probably remember a song:
I did for him, called Daddy. I think that's why I let my music go for a while. I didn't want to lose him, but, God knows best and I am glad he is no longer suffering. He had colon cancer that spread to his spine, and then to other places.
My song, Help Me Lord, comes from our need for His help in times of trouble.

"Rap Jesus" was interesting to listen to: Pray. I loved your lyrics; I just wish you put in more percussion fills in between measures and gaps of vocal silence; it would sound so much more interesting if you did that instead of a looping drum pattern with no fills. But, I don't know, that's just me as an individual: I listen to vocals as well as the details in percussions.
