Enstruction began recording musique concrete experiments in 1976; one such recording was released on the "Interim: The Pacific Northwest Experimental Project". In late 1979, Enstruction began doing audio experiments at a Seattle studio. In 1982 the "Keep Out of My Body Bag" single was released by Deus ex Machina Records and was distributed by the now infamous Systematic Records. In 1984, Enstruction began releasing material under the name "New Age Movement" and three releases (again, through Sound of Pig) saw the light of day. In 1987, Enstruction began recording under a new name, Final Solution. Their first release, "Music For The Deaf" was issued by Deus ex Machina and subsequent releases include a contribution to the now-legendary "Swallowing Scrap Metal" compilation. Final Solution also published written materials, contributing to the Ivan ("Church of the Subgenius") $tang's "High Weirdness By Mail" book project. In 1990, James Banner started the Dada Action Group with Mark Schomberg (aka Abo) who had already been recording as Yeast Culture, Kimberly Sheridan and Abo's then-girlfriend Carol. Dada Action Group released a single as part of a collaborative package with Smegma of Portland, Oregon. After 1990, more stuff happened but I'm out of space here.
