I have always been a frustrated musician; my ideas far outstripped my technique. Though I could never call myself a musician now, the tools of technology have given me an opportunity to express and share some of those ideas. The Architect Sketch is a catch all for my explorations and evokes a range of influences from King Crimson, Roxy Music, Primal Scream and various electropop. Core Ten is an homage to the early electronic pop of John Foxx. It is decidely synthetic sound and execution and faintly nostalgiac for a time when Modernity was fraught with terror and not merely hackneyed and comodified as it is today's Neo-modernism.
Electric Angels, named for Bill Nelson's song, Electricty Made Us Angels, is a collaboration with the very talented Englishman Bob Kingdon. We are a sort of virtual transatlantic Power Pop band, brought together by a love of Bill Nelson, T-Rex, Matthew Sweet, Roxy Music and women in lingerie.

[last edited on Tue Aug 18, 2009 @ 05:44 PM] Hello Eric, I've just listened to, "I dreamt of my Father" through head-phones. Sometimes you actually get to hear more detail listening to tracks like this, that way. Absolutely lovely . . .slightly sad which is kind of appropriate. A very fitting 'tribute'.
Seems that some 'glitch' won't let me leave a comment on your music page ! 'Morning on Third Avenue' is a nice song.

Thank you Eric for your review of The Enchanted Swamp
Just listening to a few of your offerings
I hear a lot of creativity in your Core Ten compositions,
The Fibonacci cuts are pretty cool experiments into electronica
