Dwight C. Eisenhower (no relation) lives in the West of Scotland, where he writes songs and short stories.

Since taking early retirement from his job as an undercover police informant, he has had short stories published on a number of literary websites and has written and produced material for the atmospheric pop combo 'Gum'. He is also a member of The Eisenhowers; their debut album 'Almost half-undressed' was released in 2006 and has picked up a number of very favourable reviews. A new album is scheduled for released in August 2008.

The songs on this site are mostly home demos, works-in-progress and tracks which didn't quite make it on to any of the albums made so far by Gum and /or The Eisenhowers.

Dwight is currently working on a unified theory of physics and is also composing a baroque musical about the life and times of the Loch Ness Monster. In his spare time, he enjoys collecting unusual buttons, staring into space and writing anonymous love letters to a variety of female television personalities.
