Artists Name: Dutch Hollerin Business: Producer Birth date: August 22, 1973 Hometown: Los Angeles, California Style: R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop, Rap, Jazz and Ambient Dutch has been making music since he can remember. As a young child, he would play on his brother’s turntables first when his brother wasn’t around and then from his teachings learned how to DJ by age 10. While in fifth grade, Dutch received his first booking as a DJ at house party and from there worked parties and then Clubs while attending high school. During his “DJ” years Dutch also learned how to work with mpc players midi boards and sound boards. Throughout the years Dutch has had a lot of influences to create his unique sound including: Quincy Jones, Kraft work, Art Blakey, Miles Davis, The Beatles, Morrissey, Nirvana, Stevie Wonder, Roy Ayers, Last Poets, Rza, Curtis Jackson, Sean Carter (Jay-Z), Russell Simmons, Bob Marley and quoting Dutch himself, “anyone who inspires to make innovative and constructive music to help progress the art form.” Mr. Hollerin has mastered a wide variety of software and hardware. Some of the software he works with is Nuendo 3, Pro Tools, Reason, Fruity loops, Vegas, Sony Sound forge, cubase sx, alcohol 120%, sonic foundry and more.
