Title: mercedes cadillac (analog/rough mix)
I teach by day. I play by night. I'm living in Portland with three cats and a lot furniture. I eat food and I drink fluids. I sleep six hours every night. I wear clothing and shoes.
Might need some help writing Beatles "Merseybeat" style kind of songs for my new band Bayshore Echoes. Maybe you can help me out, Jeremy. smile :)
Also, how you been man?
Reason is, I am trying some experimenting musically outside of my punk-based Pop Metal sound. For me doing my new venture.

Well Antioch is a pretty rural small town in the East Bay. Kind of like surburbia, with too many McDonalds and fast food places. Definitely not San Francisco for me. But I dig it. wink ;)
Yeah I been getting guitar lessons lately from a friend from school Brian, he has a Soundclick.

I also been writing a lot of Instrumental Rock lately. Check this new baby if you have time. It's an epic 8-minute hard rock song.

Yeah, I think my musical tastes are pretty LA Glam Metal. Something the Bay Area is not really associated with. Because Green Day and pop punk bands came from Gilman, and Bay Area thrash metal like Metallica. Maybe, I'm unique. Since I am the only guy doing Grunge or 1980s Classic Rock in the Bay!

Hi J,
How's it going? I just made a new page for my demos. "Dexter Rotten." Other than that, things been fine. I been really in a state of songwriter's block. I just can't seem to figure out how to record a new set of songs, I got ideas but I feel pressured. As if, I have to please a certain audience or get everything recorded right. :X

So what's new? I live in Antioch, California now. Just moved out of SF to live back with family.

I currently go to Hayward State University, I just got into that school last year around September. It's called CSU East Bay now. I tried to get into SF State University, but they denied my spot because I didn't finish Math. sad :(

Yeah, I been to Orinda. I live in San Francisco alone in my old house but my family lives in the Far East Bay called Antioch, my older brother and parents. May I ask, why did you move out of the Bay Area? I can never imagine leaving here except to live in Seattle.

As far as music goes, being 23 and Asian makes me the underdog usually in the music world. I guess me in particular is against being associated with the NORM, considering I'm a Sociology BA major at Hayward University. But thanks for the encouragement. smile :)

My friend Kat and others think I should not worry about record deals with indie or major labels. Rather, musically the Internet spreads recognition like wildfire even with a bad review. ^_^ Besides, everyone like she said downloads nowadays!

Hey J,
How's it been? I didn't know you were from the Bay Area back then. I just remember that from what you said in the forums once.
Were you from SF or the East Bay?
I don't post in the forums anymore. Kind of got offended by some things personally. But I might some time when I'm more ready to get back on it. smile :)
Thanks for being a fan of my Bay Area rock band, well one man, Rock 4 Chinatown! ^_^
