My name is Alexander Agbo, I was born in the 70s to a noble family . My father's name is Agbo and my mother is Comfort.
My father is a native of Benue state while my mum is Igbo origin all in Nigeria, West Africa.
I grew up in the village and in my early days and did my elementary education in the village but used to come to town for holidays which i normally spend in my uncle place in Agbor. my uncle, whose love for root, rock and raggae music and country music changed my life. As Music of the Legends like Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Yellowman, Don Williams etc spur me into music.

I started writing my music and perfomed at various school shows while i was yet in the secondary school where on one occassion i represented my school and I came second.
I was nick named don alexis by a Dj at Adu Bayero University Kano, where i performed on stage for students, saying and i quote ''this a new don of music infact he shall be called don alexis from today"' there was a deafning shouts, friends, fans and babes yearn for more.
And the name stuckked as friends and fans prefer calling me don alexis till today.

It's not been easy generally because getting a reliable company to sign me on has always been something else.
Promoters are not forthcoming and i made it a point of duty against all odds not to difocus. I took up teaching as part time job. I have published 3 story books for Nursery & Primary school.
No regrets, so to say. Still pursueing my music carrier.....
