retired the line6 spider valve bognor and purchased the new blackstar series one 45 combo
what a beauty a fantastic amp and will be using it tonight at the jam and tomorrows gig etc
another gig for the a.m allsars the berwick inn fri 18th dec 2009 be there.

my new band , a 4 piece blues/rock covers band
1st gig 27th sep at the smugglers pevensey
2nd gig 3rd oct edenbridge
3rd gig 20th oct terminus at eastbourne
Also started an Acoustic jam night at the Wheatsheaf in Willingdon East Sussex running every wednesday
looking promising
hope to buy a Blackstar Series one 45 very soon
Upgrading the hardware on my srat to toneriders with new pots selector switch and scratchplate next week
all systems go
still playing the jam at the smugglers every thursday cool!

Tomorrow sees me down at the garden bar , sovereign harbour with the big blue (once again)

managed to acquire a '62 reissue fender strat , made in japan about 1995.After an initial set up it plays very nicely and sounds great.Shall be gigging it on thursday at the smugglers,also the revamped tele with seymour duncan vintage stacks is great

put a band together for Dr Rocks birthday playing covers from Led Zeppelin to Jet with Hendrix and Spencer Davis on the way.

Those lovely chaps in the Big Blue let me jam on saturday.
My missus tried to record some of it with a camera which is available on the video page.
The levels are a bit out ( I could have turned my amp up a bit).
The gist of it it there though.

also got the fbv pedal board for the line 6 spider valve
works a treat ,4 pre sets and a volume/wah pedal all run from the amps power

just got a 2002 ltd edition epiphone les paul in cherry tiger stripe maple and it is a beauty
looks,feels and plays like a gibson,it even has gibson on the headstock
gigging it tomorrow

just got the blackstar ht dual pedal
gigging it tonight should be fun.
Also sold my ibanez jp20 joe pass guitar.the buyer was gigging when martin taylor walked in listened to a couple of numbers then joined in on the jp20 and was apparently impressed.nice to see it go to a good home and get the use it was intended for.

Became the proud owner of a gibson es333 with bare knuckle stormy monday pick ups.gigged it last night and it sounded really tasty.

Took the amp out twice last week and everyone loved it
really pleased with the sound, lets my guitar shine through
thursday at the bay hotel pevensey for the next outing

just bought a line 6 spider/bogner valve 112 and love it
almost everything you could want in an amp
also had my crybaby upgraded by pedalmods.com to 535q
great job chris
and! picked up a prescription electronics experience pedal
expect some new music soon!
