I'm in my 50s . I'm a singer/songwriter. The genres of music I'm writing are of Country Rock , Alt-Country, Blues and Folk roots. Having quit playing music for quite some time, I'm back to it. Today's technology makes it possible for an independent artist to compose and record his own music is what got me back to music.
What makes a good song I think is a good melody. Then the right arrangement makes it even better.
I'm working on putting together songs for a CD. Havin quite a few songs ready for remix with my new recording gear and also working on new songs as well.

I said "I love this song" to save you having to look. It's a masterpiece. I think its at home with all the greats - the composition, words, arrangement, performance, world class guitar solo.
