Title: To Whom It May Concern(DrumnJon's Album Dub)
Decaying Orbit is an experimental/punk/Gothic Rock band from Texas that formed in 2008 and believe in complete musical and life style freedom. Genres have no meaning for their music and they play from the gut with as much passion and integrity as possible. Their heaviest influences would include Punk Rock, Metal, Experimental Noise and Goth Rock. They record in their own Studio called The Morgue and They produce and promote Their own music and artwork through their label Decaying Enterprises. The label also produces the solo work of Mike Ash, the lead singer, keyboardist and guitarist for Decaying Orbit. Mike is self taught and has been making music in one form or another for the last 20 years. Although he has worked with many different bands and musicians, he gained the majority of his online notoriety for his work with the band Strangefire, a psychedelic folk rock band which formed in 2004 and disbanded in 2008 (www.soundclick.com/strangefire). Decaying Orbit has recorded six studio albums to date, 'Born To Decay'('09), 'Noizez From The Morgue'('10), 'Ifurin'('11), 'Chaos Theory'('12). 'Wastoid'('13) and their newest release, 'Bong Water Coffee & The Constant Struggle To Stay High'. Decaying Orbit is managed by: Demonatrixxx MGMT owned by Mike's wife, Willow. Decaying Orbit has collaborated with many other artists and is always open minded to trying new things. we do hope you njoy tha show!
The Destruction Of Something Beautiful II: I have revamped the song list for the online version of the new Decaying Orbit collaborative/collective album, "The Destruction Of Something Beautiful". I am working on putting ALL of the Decaying Orbit Releases Online in the order they were released to make it easier to find the songs you want to hear. I would like to express my gratitude to ALL of the brilliant & amazing artists I had the honor to work with on this album. This record has been an ongoing project since 2013 when I released the Decaying Orbit album, "Planet News" & I hope this project will continue to flourish in the future. I have been super busy rebuilding The Morgue Studios, but it's a work in progress. I would especially
The AntiSocialite: Decaying Orbit has released a new collective of songs from over the years called, "The AntiSocialite". Many of these songs were never released under the name Decaying Orbit, but were solo, Mike Ash releases & a few Decaying Orbit singles from here & there. "The AntiSocialite" is meant to tide our listeners over until we are able to start recording & releasing brand new material. The album has an over all softer sound than previous releases have had & the lyrics are sardonic, sarcastic & very much in your face, like a middle finger with a smile!!! We do hope you enjoy our newest offering of sound & be sure to stay tuned for brand spankin' new Decaying Orbit tunage.
The Destruction Of Something Beautiful: Decaying Orbit's newest release, "The Destruction Of Something Beautiful" is now available for full streaming & Down Load!!!! the release includes collaborative works with such brilliant artists as Aloka, DrumnJon, Faunaserene, Sonicism, Alpha One Omega, Karmabend & Nandoo!!! This is also Decaying Orbit's very first double-album release. The album is available here on SoundClick in it's entirety for free streaming and down load. The physical release will be available for sale through Decaying Enterprises in the next few weeks. Mike Ash is currently busy rebuilding The Morgue Studio after an over three year recording hiatus. So, Decaying Orbit will be busy recording new material soon.
Mike Ash On 'Bong Water Coffee & The Constant Struggle To Stay High': These songs are NOT about 'sound quality' or 'listenability'. They are about emotional release, they are true catharsis. Furthermore, this album was never supposed to be released. These songs were recorded as demos after I released my album, 'Wastoid'. I was so trashed during the studio sessions that I do not remember recording most of it. what I can tell you is that these are the rawest, most passionate songs I have ever released. They are brutally honest to a fault. The majority of them are spontaneous improvisations. The others are ideas that never quite came entirely to fruition. I love these songs and I stand by my decision to unleash them upon an unsuspecting populace. My decision to
News On Bong Water...: Decaying Enterprises is working overtime to finish up the artwork for the new Decaying Orbit album, 'Bong Water Coffee & The Constant Struggle To Stay High' it is almost finished as fare as the song list and the songs themselves. we would like to thank Sonicism, DrumnJon & Faunaserene for their wonderous contributions to this record! we would also like to Thank Aloka & Karmabend for their remixes! hope you enjoy what's already online there is more to come soon
