Making Music With My Friends - New Collaboration
There is an old Bill Gaither song that says - Loving God, Loving each other, Making music with my friends.
Well I know exactly what Bill is talking about here with this song by my dear friend in Christ Jacki Wheeler. I heard this song "Into the Sunset" on her site the other day and I just fell in love with it. This is another one of what I like to call Jacki's Jewels. Well I asked her if I could try some guitar stuff along with it and she was excited about the possibilities. Well I laid down a rythem track to go alone with Jacki's wonderful keyboard work. But it needed a good lead guitar added to this mix.The only person I know close by is my Son in Law Jason Mendez. I am proud not only to call him my Son in Law but also to be able to call him a friend. He has a wonderful gift of playing Guitar and is currently in the works of forming a Christian Band. Well with the talent of Jacki and Jason and myself I feel we pulled off a wonderful gift of music.
Thank you Jacki for the opportunity to play along with you on this. We hope to do more with you
