First and foremost, I am a writer and I write mainly poetry and song lyrics, although I have got a couple of novels under my belt too.
I have, for the last few years, been fortunate enough to be able to concentrate purely on my writing and have been published a few times in poetry anthologies and magazines and have won a few poetry contests and awards.
I write lyrics for many composers around the world, having "met" them through a couple of websites I frequent and have a collection of close to 100 songs with them.
I am married and have two grown children and a pair of small grandsons I adore.
Meeting people on the internet has been a joy for me and I spend far too much time sitting at my computer, but I do have other interests which involve other family members. My son is a rock drummer and I am always happy to go to one of his gigs or discuss music with him and we have worked together on a few songs as he is also blessed with a sweet voice.
My daughter is coincidentally my best girlfriend and we are often out and about doing things together. And my husband and I share a love for travel, for movies and for having a giggle, which is what I am perhaps most famous for.
And finally, I own and run (with an able crew) a forum-based website called Born Poets where I also help and encourage young poets.

Hi Dawn,
Well I very sorry to hear about your daughter but was relieved to hear she recovered. Exciting news about your books. Definitely keep me in the loop as to when they would be available.
Jim is doing well. He is in the process of getting a new dog. He had some health scares himself these last 2 years. A staph infection in his back that really got bad and he was hospitalized for quite awhile and had to have surgery to cutout the infection.
Thanks for spinning Needles and Pins. I have been not doing much musically either my day job has all but taken over my life. I always thought I would be cruising into retirement at my age now but it is worse than it ever was. But.. like everything else in life it beats the alternative.

Hi Dawn,
Thank you for stopping by and the kind words. Actually, I’m really happy you found your way to my site or I would have not had the privilege of listening to this beautiful track. I checked out “Let Me Tell You”. Simply marvelous! You are a very talented wordsmith. I will return to enjoy more of your collaborations with Amy.

Hi Dawn and thanks for comming to my MSB, went to your site on Mp3 and read all the comments about "Hope burns bright" nice to hear people like the song and also good to hear some constructive comments too. My "X" wanted to hear a choir, blended male/female choir there also, maybe I'll add that before next Christmas, I wouldn't be supprise if Fridsemd keeps on with the singing, hopefully getting better, that at the end of the year she would wanna re-sing it, but who knows... LOL! Take care my friend and have a Happy new year!
