Artist: CosmoMoose
Title: Shooting Stars
Composer and producer, Chris Medway, began recording as “CosmoMoose” in January 2011 following a momentous birthday (he won’t say which one!) with the aim to create timeless electronic music full of strong melodies and imaginative themes.

Chris had previously written songs for musical theatre, children and church worship and, even though CosmoMoose is a brand new venture, this past experience has influenced CosmoMoose music, often giving it dramatic, reflective or playful qualities, sometimes absent from electronic music. In addition to using various synth sounds and effects, the music of CosmoMoose often incorporates real or recognisable instrument sounds to give the music a more organic or ‘human’ feel (not bad for a Moose!).

Chris remarks that, rather than being a composer, he often feels like a receiver of music that is already there waiting to be composed. A melody will come into his head (often at inconvenient times!) and if he wants to compose something specific he can instantly dream up a new melody and arrangement with little thought or planning. All the music you hear is then created on a laptop, not only in CM’s studio but sometimes on a train or in a field where Chris enters his own sonic world, the world of CosmoMoose, oblivious to what is going on around him.

The influences for CosmoMoose are Chris' musical heroes and electronic pioneers, Vangelis and Jean Michel Jarre, plus more contemporary artists such as Sash! and Daft Punk.
“I’m a Jesus Fan” - a song for churches to sing during World Cup seas: It’s World Cup time and the perfect opportunity for Christians of all ages to sing and chant “I’m a Jesus Fan” to the world. So I’ve made available a sporty-themed praise song with a true stadium-stomping rhythm on http://www.chrismedway.com/jesusfan.html. The song will automatically play on that page and you can freely download an MP3, lead sheet music and lyric page for use in your church, kids club or stadium (if you happen to have one). Just right click on the resource you want and press “Save As”.

If you use the song then I’d love to hear from you

All the Jesus Fans shout: “What a Champion! He’s our Saviour and we’re united”.
Sadly Billy, a Giant African Land Snail, died recently: I posted some pictures on my website http://www.chrismedway.com/news.html of Billy, our Giant African Land Snail. Sadly, Billy, who was aged 6, died - he was a big and old snail.

We now have a baby Giant African Land Snail, also named Billy. Compare the size between the two! One day, though, I hope that our new Billy will grow up to be as big as his predecessor.
NEW KIDS CD OUT NOW - the ideal Christmas present for kids aged 0-200: At last it happened...........

I came home from work late the week before last and what greeted me at the door? 10 boxes containing 1000 CDs in the hallway. The CDs are copies of "ALL ABOARD THE HEAVEN EXPRESS". Wooooo-Hooooo

The whole package looks fantastic - the artwork, the cover, the art printed on the CD itself; I'm very pleased with it all. So pleased in fact that the price for a CD is going to be £9.00 instead of £10.00 at least until Christmas (that's around $14.60).

So there's no better time to get your copy of "All Aboard the Heaven Express" or buy someone a Christmas present that will make them smile and be a blessing to them.

PLEASE CHECK OUT MY WEBSITE: www.chris...
The tracklist for the exciting new CD release has now been finalised: I have had my head down the past year recording multiple instruments, sound effects, vocals and voice overs for a new concept CD for kids from ages 0 to 200: "ALL ABOARD THE HEAVEN EXPRESS".

The tracklist for this exciting new CD release has now been finalised and I'm very pleased with the selection and the order:

1 All Aboard??the Heaven Express
2 Jesus said I am the Way
3 For God Loved the World so Much
4 On and On and On for ever and ever
5 Fix your Eyes upon Jesus
6 Keep on Asking, Keep on Seeking
7 Why Worry (aka the Worry Song)
8 Love the Lord your God
9 Whenever you Eat (munch munch)
10 I'm a Jesus Fan
11 Ahoy There (Ahaaaaarrrrrrrrr)
12 Don't Run out of Steam
13 As...
Weird Recording Session - singing like a PIRATE: Aharrrrrr me hearties.
I be recording this song called "AHOY THERE" where I had to sing like a pirate. However if you be thinking of doing the same then please take note:

HEALTH WARNING: SINGING LIKE A PIRATE WRECKS YOUR THROAT.

I could hardly talk the next morning and I couldn't say to my workmates "I be singing like a pirate 'til midnight". They'd think I was weird - and they be right!

My next recording session for the song involves me talking like a PARROT.

PARROT: "Who's a pretty boy then?"
PIRATE: "Well, that be me"
EVERYONE: (laughs)

Thanks for the add
Nuff respect

Hi Chris, Thanks a lot for dropping by. My pleasure on the add. I'm so glad you liked my station "Xmas 365," in which, I have Christmas music available 365 days a year. I am just putting it together. I believe the best Christmas music is yet to be heard and that much of it is right here on SoundClick. The holiday music I am finding on here compares to and often exceeds what I have heard on radio stations -- of which, yours was a great addition -- so naturally I believe I have the best Christmas available on my new station! Hehe! Thanks for your kind words. : ) And hey, don't be a stranger. Drop by again. Blessings, Cathy

Greetings!

A Sonar Experiment by "The Astonishing Ones"
Created on Cakewalk Sonar 5 in 2007, this song was
originally designed as a platform for a Rock / Hip-Hop vocal.

Hi there Chris! A happy new year to you! Hope 2008 has been good so far! I LOVE the Rolf page design - fantastic!

Please could you help me get in the UK charts? My songs are available for download at Tunetribe.com, and each download counts towards getting me in the UK charts! It does cost, but at only 79p per download, it's a snip! I'm not doing it for the money, but for the recognition. The site is paid downloads only and operates quality control so all music on there is good.

Follow this link to start downloading: http://www.tunetribe.com/Artist?artist_id=84362

Thanks lots, I REALLY appreciate your support.
