Song "Rien que toi et moi" Fabrice Gratien and Nicolas Peyrac.
In 1976, young beginning singer Catherine Ferry represented France with the song "1,2,3 " composed by Tony Rallo and Jean Paul Cara . Among the backing vocals of Catherine, the band Melodie SA, Guy Balavoine, Patrice Schreider, Bernard Serré and a young singer, Daniel Balavoine composer of the B side single 'Petit Jean'.
After the contests, radios, TVs, shows in France, Europe, Japan and in Tokyo at the Yamaha festival, Catherine recorded several singles and an album at Barclay, under the honourable artistic production of Léo Missir,
In 1981, Daniel introduced Catherine to Bernard de Bosson, CEO of WEA / France. In 1982, the song "Bonjour, Bonjour" was released lyrics by Linda Lecomte and music of Balavoine.
In 1983, Catherine sang in the musical fairy tale "Abbacadabra" written by Alain Boublil, based on Abba's songs. At the same time, she recorded the song 'Grandis pas'.
In 1984 , the album, Catherine Ferry was released at WEA on which we can find 'Vivre avec la Musique'... an other success. For the producing of this L.P, the already famous Andy Scott devoted his art to Catherine's voice who gave life to Daniel, J.Hammer, M. Rorive 's musics, and to L. Lecomte, F. Wauthers, Bernard Balavoine, P. Dulphy and Daniel 's lyrics.
In 1986, life didn't permit to Daniel to write the French lyrics of a song he wrote for Frida of Abba “The Face” .
