Catya Maré is a critically acclaimed, multiple award winning composer, violinist, music producer from Denmark who is now living in Los Angeles, California.
She has performed as a classical violinist since her early childhood, held the position of an alternating concertmaster with Aarhus Symfoni Orkester (DK) and has done numerous performances at concert halls and major museums, such as National Galerie Berlin and Kunsthaus Zürich.
Catya Maré started composing / producing her own music (orchestral / ambient / electronica / pop) in 2005.
She was nominated for the Hollywood Music Award in November 2008 and won the Billboard World Songwriting Contest in February 2009. In August 2009 she was nominated for another prestigious music award: The Hollywood Music in Media Award.
