The buzz that has surrounded the Debut Casey Fallen album entitled "Orbis Pictus" is that Casey Fallen had created something new and refreshing for the ears. The honesty in the lyrics and mixed styles of Alternative, Electronica and Rock create a distinct new sound.
There are only a few well known underground indie artist names that are known by those that follow the Los Angeles indie scene. In a sea of artist, Casey Fallen is one of a few names that continued to rise to the top.
What is interesting about this album is that it was not created with the intention to ever be released as a album. It was Casey Fallen's private collection of music. Basically thoughts and experiences documented as songs. It was of a sort, Casey Fallen's private diary.
One evening while at a close friends house for a cocktail party, Casey was introduced to a fellow artist and Producer who works with many top artist in the music industry as a day job. Doug Osborne had already had a successful music career under his belt and years of experience as a recording artist. Casey's friend introduced the two and casually brought up the fact that Casey also did music to Doug.
Doug, Having an appreciation of art of all types, asked to hear a bit of Casey's work. All Casey had with him at the party was a poor quality cassette recording with one song on it out in his car. Doug took a listen and one week later Casey and Doug were hard at work in the recordin

PS. My song "Too Many Strings" is #120 on Neil Young’s Living With War site and my song “Did You?” is #2056. I would really appreciate you giving them a click. The link is: http://www.neilyoung.com/lwwtoday/lwwsongspage.html (You will need to right click on your mouse over the song title for it to open in a new page (which will be my myspace page but it gets a click count from Neil's page) and then you can listen to it, thanks for the click!)
