Born in the small country town of Seguin, Texas, Brannon Dreibrodt always heard country music everywhere he went. From the school parking lot to Saturday night dances at the KC Hall, country music was all over that small town. Though he does consider himself a country singer, his voice does not lead one to call it traditional country.

He was raised listening to music. His grandparents were in the church choir for many years, and everywhere he went, music was playing, whether it be in the car, or just around the house. This is why it isn’t hard to understand why he always loved to sing. He was singing from the time he was a little kid listening to music with his parents. The country music he was raised listening to is something obvious when you hear his voice today. Although he is not traditional country, his voice definitely blends well with the country music style.

He has been writing lyrics to songs since he was 16 years old, but never learned how to write music to add to it until recently, and even uses several songs he wrote 10 years ago in his debut album, “This Time Around.” Although most of his music is from past experiences in his life, some songs, he admits, are just off the top of his head. He would sit down and try to put a situation in his head, and begin to write.

His dream of making it in the music industry is just now beginning. With cd number one finished, and more to come, we are just scratching the surface as to what this man can do.
