Jacky Blanchard and Misty Morgan:
"Jack Blanchard & Misty Morgan are writers/musicians/singers/producers
who have had a number of hits on Epic, Columbia, Mercury, UA, RCA, and other majors.
Their main airplay has been in the Country area, with crossovers to Pop,
but they are so different that nobody can figure out exactly what they are.
They write and produce their own recordings,
and are also Jazz musicians, as many Country artists have been.
Among their credits are: "Billboard Country Duet of the Year", and they are Grammy Nominees.
Their first hit was "Tennessee Birdwalk".
The Jack & Misty stage show consists mostly of original music, comedy, and audience rapport."

A part of the life of the great artist Miss Kitty Houston.:
KITTY'S NOTES AND MEMORIES:
WHEN I KNEW "TWITTY"
DID I EVER TELL YOU HOW I KNOW CONWAY AND HIS FAMILY? HIS BAND BACKED ME WHEN I MADE MY FIRST RECORDING.
DURING THAT TIME I MET SAMMY SMITH, AS SHE WAS RECORDING ALSO, AND CONWAY'S BAND WAS BACKING HER. SHE WAS ON HER WAY TO NASHVILLE. AFTER A FEW YEARS SHE RECORDED HER BIG HIT "HELP ME MAKE IT THROUGH THE NIGHT".
I MET LEW HOUSTON, CONWAY'S STEEL GUITAR MAN, AND LATER WE WERE MARRIED. LEW HOUSTON PLAYED STEEL GUITAR FOR CONWAY ALL DURING THE LEAN YEARS OF CONWAY'S CAREER WHEN HE WAS TRANSFERRING FROM ROCK AND ROLL TO COUNTRY. CONWAY AND LORETTA LYNN STARTED SINGING DUETS, AND THEY WERE A GREAT DUO. THEY SANG DUETS AND "MADE M...

Memories of Ronnie Haig.:
I was very impressed reading about "Chess" 2120 S.Michigan Av. Chicago Il.
I was fortunate to be able to record in that studio while under contract to "NOTE RECORDS" out of Indianapolis, Indiana. (1958-1961)
Jimmy Coe and his band played behind several recording artists. Wes Montgomery on guitar, Pookie Johnson tenor sax, Jimmy Coe alto sax,Wil Scott
on stand up bass, Henry Caine on the grande, and Earl "Fox" Walker on drums.
Oh, My name is Ronnie Haig. (I played my Gibson)
I had the pleasure of being the only white dude in the house sometimes. We cut my:"Don't you hear me calling baby" b/w "Traveler of Love" for "NOTE RECORDS" which wound up on ABC Paramount 6 weeks later on ...

Levi Riggs.:
"Levi is a Country-Christian-Rocker." "Levi's sound is progressive country with a hint of folk and gospel." "His lyrics grip you." "When he sings, you can see into his soul."

Great cd by Ronnie Haig...a must for Gospel music lovers.:
"Inspiring Moments"
For most of my life, I have consentrated on recording the music "I" wanted to hear. I guess I felt like it had to be "Rock & Roll" or it wouldn't be me.
Then one day I started thinking. It was God who gave me the talent in the first place. It was God who gave me the songs I write. Just maybe it was God, trying to speak through me, to those who don't know Him. So, I began to look at my Gospel songs in a different way. I have over 100 of them to date. All total, I have over 500 songs written, most being secular songs. I told myself that it was about time I did an album that I feel would be God's will, and quit hiding those songs in my closet,...
