Born and raised in Detroit. Started working in studios at 16. Now married with kids in Northern Indiana. Still playing and producing.
A week in Austin: Recently got back from a week in Austin Texas. I had the great pleasure of seeing Bob Schneider live at the Saxon Pub. Bob is the man. Amazing songwriter, amazing performer, and killer band. www.bobschneidermusic.com.

Sixth street is sadly dying - overrun with commercial tourist traps. Do yourself a favor and seek out the Saxon, The Cactus Cafe, or Antone's.
Monday after a two gig weekend: Played Friday night with The Minor Profits at a great venue in Goshen called The Constant Spring. The event was a fundraiser for the Millrace Farmers Market. We were the last group and went on at 1:00 AM! Still a decent crowd and we had a great time. Though there were a few sound issues early, we made it through it and had a fun early morning.

Played Saturday at The Electric Brew - my favorite coffee shop of all time. Solo piano and vocal show. Had a light crowd, but a nice, attentive and friendly one. I gave away some CDs, personalized for the show, and had a chance to blow through some new songs.

Then Sunday I recorded one of the new ones, "Catch Me On The Rise", which I hope to have...
Another day after rehearsal: Last night was worship team rehearsal for our church. We have an "all worship" Sunday this week, so lots and lots of music. I am so thankful for the opportunity to play with so many wonderful musicians. I learn from everyone I play with. I still wonder why I've been given the talents and gifts I have, but I am thankful for them - every day!
