Dolly Latex #1 in Comedy chart - thanks, everybody!:
Many thanks to everyone who's played and kindly commented on our light-hearted-but-with-a-little-sting ditty about Dolly Latex, she seems to have taken on a life of her own. I'm sure she is open-mouthed with surprise to see herself at No.1 in the Comedy chart, but we are so grateful to you all.

Organizing my new stations:
I've just spent an evening sorting out my Stations, as there was one with over 30 tracks by Travelling Records artistes. I've now split those into three stations of about ten tracks each, plus a station of songs by other SoundClick artistes. I've set up separate stations for each of Bright Spark's albums, not all the tracks are uploaded yet but I'll put them up when I can.
Enjoy
Heather aka barrenelly

Hi Heather,
you posted to my message board on My SoundClick thanking me for adding your song to my station LimeyCliff1, and also that you wished the station was made public. I had trouble with the station and finally got it corrected. Tune in and you will hear some great songs. I added more of your songs today.
By the way I was born in England in Terriers, High Wycombe, Bucks.

Hi Heather, I'm currently working on a solo guitar interpretation of two well known Australian folk songs in DADGAD tuning, "Waltzing Matilda" and "Morton Bay". Haven't managed to record a clean one-take of either yet. I usually get almost to the end and then screw-up ! But when I do them cleanly in one take, I'll let you know . . . I'm recording my Yamaha APX-4A electro acoustic 'direct' into my pc and onto Adobe Audition. Sounds quite nice.
I'll have a listen to some more of your tunes later this week.
Bye for now. (I've never listened to "The Archers" on the radio, but everyone must know the theme tune. . . even me !)

Hello there Heather,
I'm just stopping by to wish you & yours well, and I pray that all is well.
I am sorry I have not been on line very much, but I have been layed off the first of this year.
Right now I'm trying to get a diploma so I can get a better position, Lord willing.
If the music that I have been singing has been a Blessing to you then tell your friends and others so they can be blessed also.
Enjoy your week-end my friend!
Thanks for stopping by, and may you & yours be Blessed in the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
Love, Peace, & Hugs..."Murphy"

Long time no chat, eh?
If you're free on Wednesday 19th August evening, why not come along to the Cromer Carnival. My band is headlining the Carnival that night, and it would be great to see you again.
My best to you, Heather,
John Vasco

[last edited on Thu Jun 11, 2009 @ 05:24 PM] Hi Heather..hehe!..Great story about the Hammond. I can relate to that. Mud eh! Remember them well. I now use two Korg workstations (pretty good Hammond samples on them). I also use a Korg sp250 stage piano..I would say combined they still don't weigh as much as the old tone wheel!..hehe!
have a great weekend!
