SEASONS GREETINGS to you Allen, and I wish you well for 2009.
Many thanks for previously adding my music to your user station. I am humbled.
There's a new track on my GARDEN OF SURREAL DREAMS page which may interest you. 'Escape To Your Dreams Until Morning' is intended as a musical meditation with a little bit of an edge to it. I've used a variety of all-acoustic instruments which are processed with effects for atmosphere.
INSTRUMENTS in order of appearance are:
Tibetan Tingsha's, Tibetan Singing Bowl, Copper Goatbell Tri-cluster (from Sweden), Layered Choral Voices, Hammered 12-string Box Zither, Spoken Voice, Magic Mushroom Woodflute (hand carved by flute maker Blue Deer Spirit) and the Cello (after which, the Tibetan & Swedish hand percussion elements re-appear).
I've also created a new image for it, from my own original photography.
Thanks for reading and please feel free to give me your thoughts. I hope you enjoy the sounds from my inner space!

Hi Allen, I‘ve just added another instrumental track to my sound click site [in The Valiant B’s section]. It’s entitled, “The Stone Lanes” (the last for the moment in this series)
For anyone who is familiar with the story so far . . . it’s the ‘episode’ in the first book, when Steerpike runs away from The Great Kitchen, and becomes lost in The Stone Lanes in the depths of the ancient and huge castle. I hope it creates a creepy atmosphere of panic and darkness. There are lots of played, reversed and sampled sounds. The ‘B movie thriller’ guitar, picks up the running- away theme nicely.
Hope you enjoy this new instalment in the series.
David

[last edited on Fri Sep 5, 2008 @ 04:36 AM] Hi Allen, looks like I'm the first to post a comment. Do I get some kind of prize ? lol
I'm very pleased that you enjoyed my 'Gormenghast' peices enough to add them to your station. Looks like I'm in with some good company, from 'Dreamsville'. I recognise the names and faces. Haven't heard much from Margo for a while.
I've listened to your music and left you a comment on each one.
Very skillfully played and produced.
Hope you will have time to check out all of my 'alter ego's' music . . . Big Sleep, Major Snagg and The Valiant B's
Nice to have discovered your music.
your 'Dreamsville' friend, David
