I grew up in Germany, started SoundClick together with my twin brother Tanju after college in New York in 1997. I lived a couple of years in California, a little while in Germany, now I'm back in New York. Loving it!!

SoundClick upgrades roll-out: As most of our bands have seen, we have started with a soft release of the new band administration here on SoundClick. If you haven't checked it out yet go to your band administration main menu, you find the announcement and link on top of that page.

The response has been overwhelmingly positive, thanks! Apparently we're on the right track with our upgrades, and that is good to know. Soon we will also open the new administration for the member accounts and pages. You will see that this final step will make using SoundClick very easy and fun.

NYC Apartment Hunting: I love my current apartment here in NYC. It probably has one of the best views that you can imagine.

Anyway, after 3 years here it's time to move on and hunt for a new apartment. The market here in the city is pretty bad. There are hardly any good apartments available. And my current one has many amenities that I got used to and don't want to miss. Most of all plenty of space and sunlight (try to find that anywhere downtown), but also a wrap-around terrace, 2 full-size bathrooms, lots of closet space, a building with bike room, washer/dryer room, doorman staff, the works. Okay, I don't need all of that - mostly I need space and lots of light in the apartment, since I work mostly at home. ...

Best/worst list of 2008: It's the end of the year, and every one else is doing it, so here's my completely useless, competely subjective, completely tomorrow-it-could-be-a-different-one selection.

We have a tie here, couldn't decide. I loved both of these events to death, that's why I posted blogs right here about it before, ha.

Blogs for music reviews: Right now I'm working on some blogs features that will be used in our upcoming new SoundClick version. Some of those features are specifically geared towards music bloggers. This opens up our site to a whole new set of users, people that review songs or new mixes just for the love of new music.

Personally I love music blogs because I find interesting music that's not been played to death. I certainly find a lot of this new music right here on SoundClick, but it always helps to add new features to bring in new music aficionados. It makes SoundClick an even better music hub.
