Title: Brat
Grew up in River Rouge, Michigan playing in several bands. I then took a long hiatus from the guitar of nearly 20 years before heading out on my own to write, produce, perform and engineer my own original scores. So basically it's like starting over. I've got to catch up to these younger more talented musicians.
I added two tracks to the site originally to start out. One track is titled "Devadip". This is a little tribute piece to one of my influences, Carlos Santana. It's the least I could do for him. The other track is actually somewhat of a diversion that was in my head. Just a short smooth jazz piece titled "Twilight" in which I humbly did the piano work (I'm not a piano player). I needed to lay this track down quickly in order to move on to other things.
One of the most recent songs is "Brat". Sounds pretty 70ish, but it was fun.
I also added some cover tunes as well...Beatles and such. Just some songs to have fun with.

A huge thanks to everyone for their gracious comments. Stay tuned, there's more coming very soon thats sure to rattle the foundations.
All guitars, vocals, bass, synths and keyboards are performed by me on all the songs. The drums were engineered. The other two tracks (Infinity and Imagine The Sky) are my guitar work over some backing tracks compliments of Guitar Center, my favorite toy store.

Thanks for your time! And wishing everyone much success with your personal contributions to the music world !

Regards,
Steve
SUPPORT LOCAL MUSIC: .....sleep with a musician. Haha, just kidding.

But not kidding about supporting local music in your area! There's lots of hidden talent out there. Starving artists, if you will, that need your support. Go to their shows (for the price of a cup of coffee) give their music a listen and let them know they're being listened to. Download or stream their free stuff and pass it around. Forward their artist links to others so that people know they exist. Musicians won't forget you for that and it will help them in their very difficult journey. Check out who these musicians network with and listen to their music too. You might find a diamond in the rough. There's a lot of talented people...
My Apologies To Everyone!: Hey Guys and Gals,

My sincerest apologies if you haven't heard from me in a while, or haven't received a response. You're all wonderful musicians and I miss being on here tremendously. However, in early January, I lost my day gig due to a lay-off where I work. I've not been without a job in 33 years!! It has not been fun looking for another job, but hey, that's Michigan for ya!! LOL! I don't have the internet at home, so therefore I have to make stops at my local library to read my e-mails when I can. Consequently, I'm working at home on my music and not much else. It really sucks!! The no job part anyway. I really miss this great community of musicians here. Thanks to all who hit me...
DRIVER SIDE IMPACT: I'd like to take this opportunity to plug the band my son plays in...Driver Side Impact. Check em' out!!
Dave is the drummer.
