I've been watching episodes of a TV series called "Fringe". This is what I love about my explorations at the library. Sooner or later I always find treasure. Yes, sumr, there is gold in them there hills!

The show's plot and theme are reminiscent of "The X-files", but I like the feel of this latest offering because of it quirkiness. Example:

The professor is about to put a woman into a floating meditation tank. He tells her that he has an erection, but that it has nothing to do with her state of undress. He only has to pee. LOL, she says, "that's good!". His pretty black assistant is so use to him that she doesn't even roll her eyes or make a comment.

I have 4 DVDs from the library on this show and I am going to start checking them out right now!

My new background is called Mount Rainier at sunrise. It was chosen as one of the best nature photos of the year by MSNBC. I was getting weary of that funereal black background. I blame angel for that. "Noman, it has white areas that make the letters disappear." Sheesh! Ah, where's that missing button on females.

Yeah, my dog's total personality change caught me off guard. It's like his personality vanished and all that is left is an emotionless shell.

I use to sing Christmas songs with him every year. This was the first year that he just sat there and stared off into Outer Space. His favorite tune was the Barking Dogs singing "Jingle Bells".

part II

Sorry to hear about your dog, that sucks! the last days of my cat were the worst, I remember letting him take one more round to spray his entire territory, before putting him and his 18+ year old cancerous-unable-to-eat-anymore-gums to sleep. He was my best friend. Dying is the worst part of living, yet as I was writing to a friend today, dying is essential as without it, a lot of unfortuante things could happen like hanging upside down stuck in a hole in the floor for eternity because your butt was too big. Which would suck totally!

Enjoy every moment with your pal while you can!

Happy New Year Friend! big grin :D

part I

Ahhh, yes the utility of spending an extra hundred vs keeping what I have as in three years I may wish to upgrade anyway....grrrrrr.....dineros indeed! I fear they've got me, as I love to read and find the idea of a mostly book free home a new zen like novelty.

I love this BG it is absolutely gorgeous!!! big grin :D

Alguien tiene que decirme donde esta el dinero, porque no puede encontrar la mierda.

One of the most trying experiences in life is watching a loved one slowly die. That's what's happening to my dog right now. He's about 14 years old and he crossed some invisible line about a month ago.

He is well known for barking his ass off and sometimes being told to shut up. Well, now there is silence. Oscar goes through the motions of life, but his personality is gone. He also seems to be having dramatic accidents in "animal waste". We both went to the kitchen the other day and I thought that I would do the dishes first. Oscar must have been urgent. Without warning he turned into a $hit Cannon and started unloading shotgun blasts across the floor. Myself, at first I was startled, then laughing. The sound his ass made was like someone spitting into a spittoon.

That e-book technology is still in its infancy, but they'll work the bugs out of it and the bucks out of you. I believe that is the Master Plan. Please don't inform the Master Cyclinder that I have revealed his dire plot. Last time he threatened to turn me into a cartoon character and beat the brown out of me.

Al detectar el olor de la mierda, asegúrese de que la vaca ha dejado el granero.

part 2

I want to return it....but the sheer thought of not owning one, instantly made me sheerly unhappy (I know it is not an adverb, but I like it) anyway...that is the power of the ebook!!!...and is also how I felt when I returned the first even knowing the second was already on its way in the mail......sigh.....i want....i like.....but none invented as of yet is just quite right

love all these messages, and friends showing love.....

Happy New Year!!!big grin :D

part 1

Hey Noman,

first time I tried, I had the characters, but in one edit they went away I tried to bring them back even by deleting the message, still no luck, I gave up...at least the pronunciations remained....

Ok, here is an e-book update (as i'm now on my third unit) and may very well return this one and go for four....yet I love it, have read my first book and am on to my second and have another i've been reading off an on since owning the first. I guess what i'm trying to say is my ebook is nearly perfect, but due to a lack of a replaceable battery (meaning in a few years it will die) and lack of a dictionary (which is an annoyance, since I often look up words) and lack of most formats (which I can deal with using conversion software, but why should I have to?)

But this year, Ms Clause remembered me and how good I was at being bad. big grin :D Check out the new ax...first pic on my photo thing. The really cool thing is, I coulda been way badder had I just known it was gonna do me some good (other than the pleasure I woulda derived from it)...imagine what I'll get next Christmas!!

I just got used to writing "09" on my checks, now I'm gonna have to get used to, uhhh...the next number. wink ;)

Later,

LIMITED EDITION angel cards:
And YOU get one Lover Boy Noman!!! Have a wonderful 2010!

Pick a feather and stand in line???
No! No! No! It's Christmas time!!!!
And the angel's here, both naughty and nice
Have been sippin' on cider, filled with holiday spice!
They've been rockin' their wings to the tunes that they’ve made
And spent Christmas Eve wrapping, gifts that they've made!
They even stole a kiss, from a Santa or two...
No! Mrs. Clause didn't mind - for they kissed her too!
They made cookies with children, and gave lots of hugs
To everyone near them - all those that they love
And on this Christmas Eve, they send holiday cheer...
And best wishes for a productive & Happy New Year!

Ho, Ho, Ho, Merry Christmas!

Notice to everyone:

My computer is possessed and needs an exorcist.

Anyway, it seems to be unstable. I'm hoping that it will limp to March and then maybe I'll replace it with the next generation. Right now my intuition says that there is something wrong with the power supply.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Andrea, welcome back!

So the rumors are not true that you were kidnapped by Bigfoot?

There is a marvelous anomaly taking place right now with Parker Guitars. I just bought the Parker P8E for $390. It is currently going for $1609 at the major music stores. Why? I don't know, but the guitars sound great.

I'm actually practicing again. That's a good start.

So what has been occupying your time lately? And please tell us more about Bigfoot... ah, I mean Thoreau.

Trekking out of the woods to wish you and SumR holiday greetings ;-)

Congrats on the new guitar. Let me know when you record some music on it. I like the two new songs you've posted recently. I've read about the Pumping Nylon book, and someone else suggested it to me. I should check it out (and add it to the New Year's Resolutions List).

I think Ashley Judd is one hot woman!

I saw her in that movie "bug". Then I ordered some of her other movies like "Norma Jean and Marilyn". The movie starts with a scene where she is buck naked in church. The whole thing was eerie because everything was natural and all the other parishioners didn't seem to notice. LOL, try that in real life!

I just watched "Normal Life" yesterday. Another strange film. It's about a woman who can't stand normal life. Yep, some flesh scenes again. Ah, very pretty woman even when playing messed-up characters.
