It's actually a previously unpublished song written by my brother Paul back in the 80's. Don't let the title fool you. It's not your everyday ballad.

I also have given "Slay the Dragon" a complete re-mix. If you liked it before I think you'll really like it now. Turned out pretty good if I do say so myself. I'd appreciate any feedback you can offer.
All of my songs have been recently re-mastered for more dynamic range and a less fatiguing sound. Hopefully this will result in a more pleasant listening experience for all.

Hey,
I just uploaded a new and shiny Blues tune called "Seven Hundred Miles From Nowhere" featuring Jolee on the vocals. I think you're going to like it. Like I said, very new and shiny.
It is the result of several weeks of collaboration between Jolee and myself. It was her first slow blues song and my first collab so it was quite a challenge for both of us.

Hi,
I updated "The Hangman" and "Slay the Dragon" with what I hope is an improved sound. I added some sizzle, cut back some of the mud, boosted the vocals up some and made a few other adjustments. I hope I didn't mess up.
If you get a chance I'd appreciate it if you could give them a spin and let me know if I totally screwed up or what. They sound better to me but four ears are better than two. Thanks in advance.
I'm currently working on a collaboration with another SC artist that's sure to take a few people by surprise so stay tuned for that. I'll let you know when it's up.

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Gordy and I am one of the many artists here on SoundClick. I live on the west coast of Florida north of Tampa.
My musical influences vary widely but my specialty is Classic and Southern Rock. I do all the musical instruments, vocals and production on my songs and the recordings are done low budget using nothing but an iMac and GarageBand.
