Ha - thanks Rob for the comment! I think we used up all the cowbells in that other tune we did at the same time.

-edit- I see what happened... Well, for me it worked either way. smile :)

You're welcome Rob, though I must say it's hard to go TOO wrong with a mix when ever element sounds that good to start with.

hello, i got it and comments can be done on my music.thank you for the information. the guitar you see on my video is not an original rickenbecker, it is only an imitation. but it is a 12 string and sounds very good. then i have one more acoustic guitar in 12 string and one more acoustic guitar in 6 string. i love music and when i sing, i forget all negative things in my life.

By the way, I really liked the classic tremolo treatment on "Born Of The World". It initially had the feel of the 60's meets the 2000's. And your vocals and harmonies worked really well against the guitar! Its hard to pin the main vocals down, but you sort of reminded me of Jeff Lynne in his lower registers, but I'm assuming that it was you doing the harmonies as well, so your range was quite nice...

Nice harmonic pinching in the lead guitar, and overall tonal quality too.

Thanks Rob, Yeah I'm doing much better physically shoulder-wise, but I have some other issues that I'll have to get taken care of as well.

Yeah, I've been into Prog since day one. Mainly because of all of the signature changes (Percussively and melodically) and the lyrical care taken in the written word. Also, the psychedelic treatments (Pink-Floyd'ish...)

The synth guitars are from some BOSS boxes (I have several, and I'm just getting into those), and there was only one keyboard effect (my wife's Casio), there were five or six guitar synth effects used. I'd have to go back to the tracks and count them... All in all I think I used 10 to 12 tracks on that song. But the acoustics were all clean...

I'm glad you liked them... I had a lot of fun (and time) doing that particular song. I want to do it live, but I'm currently working out in a power trio group (we just started together) and would have to back track a lot of it...

I guess we'll see.

Hi Rob... Thanks for stopping by, and for the well wishes... Yes the shoulders are better. The two songs at the top of my page are the newest, but I haven't had time lately to record much, so a are a little dated.

I'd have to say that #10 would be my favorite of the three. Not because the guitar work on the other two were lacking in any way, but because 10 is more of my overall style (beat, tempo etcetera?) and the muffled notes/overall guitar work was excellent. I love the tone an phrasing on all three!

Thanks for stopping by and giving me the heads up Rob. Beautiful guitars indeed! Which songs feature these two new one's?
