I am pleased to announce the release of Peace Vibration which is my latest collection of music recorded during 2009. This collection has a jazzy feel but also has an ambient feel to the album with Celtic overtones as well as some world fusion. If you like guitar music come and check out this collection - Its also available as a 320kbps download and and is just waiting for an ipod near you. Seasons greetings - Paul Mcilwaine
is the debut album featuring Anna Lang (UK) and now available to download at 320kbps including artwork here on soundclick. This album amounts to over a years work for Anna and I and features a diversity of songwriting from rock, country, pop and acoustic genre's. Please take a listen to this great songwriter and lyricist and leave a few comments or consider a purchase for the low price of 5.99.
Okay its a bit late for spring cleaning or early depending on what way you look at it .....but I've decided to reduce the number of tracks hosted here at Soundclick - I had at one time over 100 songs and instrumentals posted here which is too many and potentially off-putting to new listeners so I have removed the Dream Team page and also reduced the number of songs available on my player. I will still work on new collaborations but perhaps not quite as many.
Stay tuned for more new music in November
for October 2009 - Firstly Only You is a new song with Liz Clarke, we are working on a song collection that we intend to release digitally as an album in 2010. Also new this month is Saluting the Sun which is an Indian inspired chill-out track that features sitar and 12 string guitar coming together.

like the title suggests - I'm back with my first musical love THE BLUES. I will be working on a collection of new tunes and songs with a blues theme during the autumn and winter - I hope to release an album of new blues material by the spring 2010 - The working title is Blue Again. I have uploaded today two new tunes Snakehips and Burning with the Blues.
Best Wishes from Ireland
Lots of good things are happening musically for our Dream Team artists presently including radio plays and publishing deals....I would love folks to have a listen to PURE http://soundclick.com/share?songid=8042708 this tune has been grabbed by two artists who are writing lyrics for this tune. Have a listen to the brass band section near the end - If different and not what you would expect to hear.
and things are hotting up musically over the last month with the re-launched Dream Team Production site here on Soundclick - Check out Anna Lang's 'Loose Control' dance track which has been completed in the last couple of days - Also check out Rockangels collab entitled Payday which is a great up-tempo blues tune. I have just released 'Pure' which is a solo guitar piece with a classical flavour. Much much more music to come with several productions ongoing with Liz Clarke and Anna Lang.
Peace

July has seen the release of two new songs the first was written with Shelia Sikes (USA) and is called The Cost of Lovin You - Shelia gives a great vocal performance with a real bluesy feel. This song is listed under my songwriting page. The second song is co-written with Belfast Worship leader Liz Clarke and entitled Holy Rain, hopefully this will be the first in a series of Gospel songs with Liz. Feel free to review this songs - constructive feedback is always welcome.

I will over the next 12 months be working on a variety of new music both blues and downtempo. This year is turning out to be the best yet on Soundclick. Jazz at Dawn has sat at the top of the Nu Jazz chart for most of the last month so thanks to all to play my music regularly.

I have been completely blown away by compliment of receiving an honours page and all the lovely comments that many of my soundclick buddies have left there. I feel completely undeserving of it but at the same time overjoyed and humbled by the love shown there. Here's to the next two years of music making.
