The Fall
I love the autumn and winter seasons for one good reason; I get more music recorded than at any other time of the year.

I am on the look out for a new lyricist/singer to work with over the next few months and have a few ideas that I would like to follow through with. Please visit my site here on Soundclick and have a listen to a few of the collaborations that I have worked on previously.

If interested, drop me a message to get things moving.

BB King
I just want to pay my respects to one of the true legends of modern music who has passed away this week. I loved this mans music and have listened to his music for over 30 years. What I have found interesting is that unlike many artists his musical ability and powers seem to have increased with age.

I feel that there is an important lesson that we we could learn from BB and that is to keep sharpening ourselves against all the challenges that live throws at us and most of all, play the music you were born to create.

Never give up.

Rest In Peace BB KING

Free Download
I've been experimenting in my laboratory, err my Studio and have been knocking out some nice chilled out groove tracks suitable for video projects etc.

The latest was recorded today entitled ENCHANT, it is an Indian inspired tune featuring Tabla and Guitar. Tunes recorded this year are all free to download and use with the usual acknowledgements.

Promise
I uploaded an new minimal groove tonight - It's actually a remix of a tune from a few years ago and I think I prefer this version. I don't usually work in Garageband but I thought I would give it go and I'm glad I did.

Let me know what you think - It's called Promise and it's under my own main Paul McIlwaine page.

New Instrumentals
uploaded two new instrumentals tonight, one is my interpretation of the old Irish ballad She Moved Through The Fair and the other in contrast, is a punk funk workout called Parkour - All constructive comments gladly received. Like most of my music it's all guitar based.

Enjoying SC again
I've been a member of Soundclick from around 2004 and I have to say its still one of the very best music sites. I love that I can share my music at 320kbps as the lower mp3 formats of other sites sound awful at times especially on tunes with acoustic or delicate tones.

A great community too
