Patti Stevens' first CD, produced by legendary outlaw singer/songwriter Billy Don Burns, was released in the spring of 2006. The project is full of heartfelt honesty and emotion. Her style has strong undertones of the rebelious outlaws of the past and present. It is hard to tell fact from fiction as she weaves a vivid tale in every song, each one thought provoking, and bravely exposing a part of herself. Her stories of love and life and the journey in between will bring you to tears and laughter almost simutaniously.
One of Patti's songs from the CD, a fun gospel tune with a twist titled Just In Case, recently won first place in the Indianapolis Songwriters Association contest and the song She Rides has been recorded by independent artist band Cabin Row, Beth Davidson Band and Whitney Erin & Buffalo Creek.
She came to Nashville to create a niche for herself and she has accomplished this. Many legendary songwriters in Nashville recognized her talent and offered guidance and support...all for the love of a song.
