Title: Ordinary Life (AI VERSION)
Just a simple acoustic singer songwriter. I like to do my own recording & arranging right here on my desktop. Some of the songs posted here have both my words and music. Others have the words of a good friend of mine, whom I've never met in person. He's asked me to put music to them and I was happy to oblige. We were both pretty happy with the result.
AI Entry: Well I entered one of my songs into the American Idol Songwriters Competition. Of course I didn't expect to win.... but I know lot of people listened to, commented on and downloaded my tunes. It felt good and I also listened to a lot of very very talented songwriters. I must say, out of the songs that made top 20..... there were a least 100 more that I felt were much better and more appropriate.
Was loads of fun though :-)
A New Collaboration: I'm in the process of collaborating with a "fellow" soundclick buddy. She has written some dynamite lyrics and has privileged me with writing the music and melody. It wasn't a very difficult job with such good material to work with TY Way2Angel for this great opportunity. Stay tuned for the results.

Hi Michael
Thanks for adding me to your friends' network. Some nice songwriting going on here. I thought 'Patient Angel' was a lovely song.

Yeah I am finally getting the to say courage to put some of my guitar work up.The current track I will put up, but have been working on for a long time goes from a mellow minor acoustic to a heavy agrgessive acoustic in the sense of struming and chords as the rhytm with just a little gain, and a lead guitar also playing some rhytm chords about a 3rd higher then the acoustic and as aggresive as my Jackson Kelly looks (even though with buying pickps that cost almost $400.00 I can pull of anything I want on it lol) I'll let you know when I put it up, but it has taken me some time because I am very anal rententive about my guitar playing and know how bad I suck at it.
