It all started for the Providence-bred, Puerto Rican when he was the tender age of 12. That's when Jilmiere E. started to express himself by rapping but it wasn't just rap music that inspired young Jilmiere, in fact his house was just as much filled with Latin music all the time. It was always the beats and bass that was playing in little Jilmieres mind that inspired him. By the time he was 13, Jilmiere knew he wanted to pursue a career in the music business, especially after he witnessed his older brother Alex Calle ascend from being just a thug in their neighborhood to blossoming as a excellent singer. When Jilmiere was about 13 he received his first set of speakers and microphone to match. Jilmiere than promoted his music through myspace where everyone saw his potential. At the age of 15 Jilmiere had received a record deal from Slip & Slide Records but Jilmiere had his mind right and refused to take the deal. For the teen Rap was born, As rap was running through his vains aswell. Jilmiere's stage name was Jay.Dip creativity in each word, it stood for young boy. It won't be until years to come that Jilmiere would graduate with his mind set on school and making music. The Next thing you know he was playing on your local radio stations hitting up studios and making crazy tracks. Jilmiere's first album (Streets Gossip) made his fans go berserk afterward he released his second album called (I Make Hits) it was defiently a club banger.
