Jah Doctrine went into the studio with a mission, which was to create a groundbreaking album combining hip hop, reggae and dancehall using his Bahamian dialect. Traveling between Minnesota and Florida USA, Jah Doctrine devoted his heart to music, and by early 2008, Jah Doctrine released the first single from the upcoming Echoes of History album. Dead Man Walking was followed a few months later by Hard Times and My Story and its music video was released a few months later. Building upon this momentum in 2009 Jah Doctrine filmed a music video for the hit single Nuff Gal which climbed the Bahama Hot Ones Charts to No. 3. on 100 Jamz. Nuff Gal was followed by hit single Visions of Afrika. Jah Doctrine has been featured on 100Jamz with Randy C, 102.9 Island FM with Bodine, Power 104.5 as well as More 94.9 fm. My Story, climbed to no. 3 on the Bahama Hot Ones Countdown, and its music video is soon to reach Tempo. Dead Man Walking and its Music Video is receiving great response reaching no. 5 on the Bahama Hot Ones a few months prior. The success of these singles has not only helped to introduce Jah Doctrine to the Bahamian people but an international audience as well. In 2008; Dead Man Walking was featured in Reggae Vibes Magazine & Compilation CD (France), Jah Doctrine’s music received radio spins from Atlanta to KFAI in Minnesota USA, and Jah Doctrine has opened for international artists such as Sizzla Kolanji, Capleton, Jah Cure, I-Wayne, Warrior King, Ben Folds and Atmosphere.
