I'm a Dutch guitar and bass-guitar player.
Currently I play in Afinado with vocalist Yolanda van Zoolingen
and Duo Jazz 'n' Samba with Trinus de Vries on sax.
Both duo's deliver classy, intimate music, with a repertoire of jazz-standards, bossa nova's and other latin-jazz. Perfectly suited to give that extra touch to a diner, reception or party.
A bass player and, if requested, a drummer can be added to both duo's to achieve a larger band sound.

Thanks for your nice comment, it made me very happy! I wish I would learn some day to play jazz like you do. It's great to come across people playing like this, like you are - I spent a great time listening to your songs.

Hi Guido
I hear Lollar pickups are looking for a new sales executive ... you should apply LOL.
Acoustic mike placement is always going to be a case of trial and error - but I have found that in front of the cone is only good in a live setting, for recording in a quite setting I generally use a 4 o'clock placement to the side of the speaker at the very edge or slightly beyond the speaker. A condenser mic is so sensitive it doesn't have to be very close.
I also like to 'warm the mic' up for around half an hour before recording simply plugging it in and turning on the phantom power for a while will do.
Your recording sounds great to me I have to say!!!
Take Care m'friend.
