At present, Girl Friday is just a one man band...me. :-) If not for multi-track recording, I would likely resemble one of those musical contraptions from a Dr. Seuss book and need about six more hands! Alas! My kingdom for a band!! My current gig is at a local place playing an acoustic mix of covers and originals. I'm also on the open mic circuit. I look forward to writing, recording, learning, collaborating, and hopefully performing live a little more frequently. We shall see.... In the meantime, I hope you enjoy my demos. They are simple recordings done in my home that I hope to polish up and master in a studio one day. Calling all producers...anyone? anyone? :-)

I have two separate projects here: One is all original work.... tunes I've created and had copyrighted. The other is a tribute project to artists who've inspired my own musical growth.
"Girl Friday" is me, my SWEET 16 Series, 14 Fret Cutaway custom Martin acoustic electric guitar, Yamaha keyboard, ROLAND FP electric piano, bargain basement Cort electric guitar (for the occasional need to jam), cool, carved Djembe drum (when pounding something inanimate becomes a therapeutic necessity), Boss Loop Station for KT Tunstall moments, DigiTech Vocalist 4 for live performances needing a little harmony, and last, but certainly not least, my Tascam Portastudio5 without which, none of this would be possible!

Hi GF...thanks for the add...i look forward to listening to more of your work as Winter slowly comes creeping back here in the Great White North. I see you aren't here much...but feel free to stop by when you are and say hi. Just finished my second CD, a blues rocker. The first 14 songs on my player are it's contents.

Hey Friday, Greetings again..
I am proud of this one.. it may be a bit rough in places, but this is a big band style
piece that all the instruments are real except a vst piano and trumpet.
I am blowing the Tenor, Alto and Clarinet sections, and the Bass guitar was played
once through with no embelishments at all. This is not the normal Soundclick faire.
It's a bit of naked real instrument fun, take a trip back to yesteryear and enjoy
Hip Hop.. (I worked me arse off on this one)
