Now hear this....Downstairs Groove Orchestra (www.myspace.com/downstrairsgrooveorchestra) has found an appropriate iate single story gig on alternating Thursdays in Lake Worth. Featuring area jazz elite in trumpeter Jon Sigel, guitarist Frank Axtell, keyboardist Mark Doyle, bassist Diego Brown and drummer Jeff Abbott, the group plays "jazz rooted in R&B and funk," which means everything from standards to material by Stevie Wonder and The Meters. See them 8-11 p.m. Dec. 4 and 18 at The Cottage, 522 Lucern Ave., Lake Worth (561-586-0080).

Been listening to some of your jams lately. Incredible guitar work! I especially enjoy the Four Horsemen tune and the New Jerusalem one as well. Keep the songs coming. You are definitely one of the best guitarists playing here on SC, and in the industry.
