I keep thinking it is time to change the "about me" section but didn't really know what to say. But the former blatherings that were written here don't seem relevant anymore. I feel like the guitar and I are beginning to fit together. I am still working at it on my own whenever I can. I know I still have so far to go but it feels like "The Secret Decoder Pik" that I thought all guitarist must have to decipher all this lingo on chords, scales, phrasing etc etc! I am beginning to see what all the fuss is about. I guess I'm finally figuring out how to work my own "Decoder Pik".
But I have to credit the talented guitarist's & musicians on this site for inspiring me and taking the time to be human with one another. If you have never had the pleasure to listen to these people and /or are new to Soundclick please go and check out these fine musicians that have been my inspiration to keep at this instrument that has chosen us in some way or another.

Messing around on a boring Saturday afternoon after listening to Joe Satriani this came out of me. Not the greatest recording as it was done with just the webcams mic. It's a bit sloppy but I am re-recording a cleaner version.

Thicker Than Water

Thicker Than Water: I just wanted to write down some thoughts I have been having these last couple of weeks. I was inspried to write "Thicker Than Water" after a visit from my Brother, Sister 'n' Law and my Grand Neice. I haven't seen my family since I left Canada 8 years ago. They brought out alot of emotion I wasn't aware was missing. Like family!
So I started writing this song as my tribute to my family and the families of us all. On September 15th my sister passed away and this song took on more of this meaning for me. So I dedicate it to her and my family and all those who have felt loss...
To my sister, after a life of turmoil may you forever rest in peace. I love you!

	Yep 2 weeks off a month, I call myself semi-retired..lol. I plan to do both, gonna go camping and fishing this weekend with my kids, and relax at home a lot next week before heading back to work. Don't pull an arm muscle working out, or else you will be forced to be a full time singer..lol I hope your Dark Water project goes well, and good luck with the vocals on the cover tune.
