Where's Hip Hop Going?:
Its been the question of the century. Whats next? We've had the party era, then the conscience era, then the gangsta. Now it seems we are somewhere between gangsta and party. Is the next hip hop movement going to be the rock rap/80's renaissance? Its looking that way.
And one thing that puzzles me is, what is creativity now a days? Is originality the new fad? That would make it unoriginal wouldnt it. I mean, every time I think I see someone trying to be original, I see a bunch of other kids doing the same thing. Like the mohawks and tights pants shit. I thought that was someone trying to be different only to be checked by seeing it repeated over and over.
