Hi I'm Falken
I have played guitar since I was 13 years old. Always having my guitar in reach... played with different bands mostly for the money

Update:

Falch my friend, how you made me laugh when I read your runic translation of
"!!,/¤```!", which apparently translates into WTF! Who would have known! I just watched some of the Norwegian film "Troll Hunter" on FetFlix. Scientist have authenticated some video footage found of 30 meter tall, three headed trolls running around in your woods. Geeze, and I thought we had problems with our President Trump - "!!,/¤```!"

It's cold here and snow is forecasted - "!!,/¤```!", I've had enough. PS, I didn't know you were into bird voyeurism. Have a great week my great friend!

Is "!!,/¤```!" from the runic Elder Futhark? Were you dissuading a door-to-door salesman pushing a second rate radio station?

It is good that you initially like them, it always takes me several weeks to weed out what I like and don't like but first impressions are always pretty clear. Have a good one! Dale

Good news, I am happy to read that you are satisfied with your brand new JBL LSR 308!!!
I was sure you will like them, in fact many many peoples are reporting only positive about those monitors! About the 8" driver, well, I think it can not be wrong as long as you keep the monitors far away from the wall ( and you did ), and you will get more dynamic and transient speed using the stronger amplifier build in the 308´s. big grin :D

You play guitar staying? I can´t anymore , I always play guitar sitting, this is a reason more for you to get the JBL LSR 308 with the special wide-spot reflex system,as you noticed, happy to hear that it works really so you can move in a greater range from the monitors while listening to. Mine are more restrained to a focussed zone, but anyway, I can´t go much away from the desk... there is no place indeed!! LOL! wink ;)
Glad you succesfully improved your studio my friend, now waiting for the next tunes ( yours and mine)!! Cheers to the music. -Spin-

Did you get your new monitors?

Thanks Falken for the great comment! What a fine surprise! I bet most guitar players that have played for a while have at least played an Eagles cover or two, especially if you have ever played in a band. The Eagles recorded some really good songs. I haven't played in a cover band for many years so it was fun trying to emulate the instruments especially trying to get the drum program to behave! lol
Thanks again and have a good one (weather permitting) that is!

...they are here!!!! big grin :D big grin :D

I am really happy with the RCF AYRA Five, I didn´t imagine the sound could be so clear over all the frequencies, I am surprised how precise these little things are!!!
Good that I got the 5" speakers: not a cm more free on my upperboard now ( pics on my site ), and the sound level can be so strong I can´t turn them to the max volume, too loud!! They have 35W for the bass and 20W for the dome-tweeter, more than enough in my mini-studio.
All in all, I am satisfied for the moment, hoping you are doing progress with your monitors, did you get them hooked up? Your impressions about?

Cheers my talented friend! -Spin-
