Fam Base is currently made up of two musicians. We call ourselves musicians because we don't categorize ourselves with just one musical preference. We expand our minds outside of the typical rap, hip-hop, and r&b. We like to create music of all types whether alternative, punk, etc. Fam Base was created by musician Nu Era aka $pade$ Da Dolla Sign. Originally going for the name BlackOut which is symbolical of the world blackout in 2003, the group name was later changed to Fam Base once InSomia aka InS was recruited. Both musicians are children of Long Island, New York growing up in the same town.
