Welcome to
"Ethnosphere Music Project "
I'm very interested in traditional (ethnic, folk) music and musical instruments all over the world.
My country Japan has unique scales, musical instrumens and styles.
I hope I can tell you a little bit of my country through my music and
pictures.
I write music in Ethnic, New Age(Easy Listening),Jazz(kind of) styles.
You can hear the influences by those great "heritage"s in some of my music especially in Ethnic fusion music.
(Note: My music is not very traditional, but mixed, blended, fusioned with other music styles)
My Music page is here,(now 18 music)
I hope you'll enjoy my music !!

DAW PC Seagate HDD problem...:
Hi there,
I think many people here use a DAW PC for creating music. and save music projects in HDD.
If you use Seagate HDD,you should check if its frimware had a bug, otherwise you might won't be able to access to your HDD and loose the data.
I have 3 Seagate HDD(ST3500320AS)s in my DAW PC and one of them happened to stop working without any symptom yesterday.
and it was my music data drive that I put all projects.
and when I found the reason on the internet,it was bug of the firmware of HDD. If this problem happens, you can't access to the HDD nor recover the data in a normal way.
so before it happens, you have to update the firmware...
I could save 2 of 3 HDDs by updating tod...

New Music!:
Hello friends and visitors,
I just finished a music called "Ame,Shizuka",and this title is in Japanese.
Sometimes it's very hard to translate into other languages...even if it's made of very simple words. and this is one of them.
If I translate "directly",it's something like "Rain, the still".
better with quietly, softly, gently in English but for me,it's a bit different in my sense.
Anyways, forget about the naming and I hope you enjoy my music!
This one is also made with Japanese pentatonic scale and something more.
Instruments are;
Bell 1&2
Pad
Violin
Cello
Flute
Oboe
Bass...

-Mt.Fuji- New Photo Album:
Hi there,
I climbed Mt.Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan(3776m) on 22th of august in the night and tried to see the rising sun next morning. but unfortunately it was terribly bad weather with the strongest wind that I haven't experienced before(only near the peak),so I couldn't see it.
It's very beautiful place and today this holly place was filled with people on tourism. I don't know how much people were there but I felt it's too much....of course I'm one of them...
Enjoy the photos!

Madre Tierra (Mother Earth -Spanish ver.-) updated:
Hi there,
I uploaded the new mix version of "Madre Tierra".
This mixing was by Andreas Prick(see my last blog for more info).
There are some changes in mixing and that made this music more clear and vivid,I think.
Hearing is believing,so take a listen!

Mixing engineer, Andreas Prick from Germany :
Hello there.
I met Mr. Andreas Prick (from Germany) and he's great passions and experiences for "mixing, mastering" that is what I lack in my skills.
Even if I knew what I want to do,or,my music should sound like...,without skills it's quite hard to reach the goal.
Thankfully he does help me in mixing and giving me advices.
I hope I can upload his remix version soon.
You can visit his website from this link;

[last edited on Sat Oct 31, 2009 @ 10:21 PM] Hey, thx for the recomendations. I've known about Haruhi and Macross I've only seen twice a long time ago, but it was really great. I think it was the one of the movies I saw of Macross.
