Since this site does not get a lot of hits anymore, I will blog a radical notion. VOTE DL Free for President of the United States. I have a solution for the ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION and end the WAR ON DRUGS at the same time. It is simple.
As soon as the US declares Peace in the Middle East, (I will declare it to be so) then we send 200,000 US troops (what ever amount we sent to Iraq) to OCCUPY and then CONQUER MEXICO.
Then onto Central America.
The whole population would then be American Citizens.
Mexican would not need to cross the border illegally. They would not need to PAY human traffickers for a ride with 100 others crammed into a truck's trailer. Many other indignities they face trying to work and live in America would cease to exist. Since many of them are using our social services and driving without citizienship or proper ID, that problem would be solved.
Learning English might be a hurdle for the first generation but after 30 years that would change.
And the DRUG CARTELS could not withstand the US MILITARY MIGHT with a full on WAR. The drug products would be safely distributed with import and export shipping lanes and trade routes established. The DEA would have a lot to do as would the Agriculture Department., Interior Dept, and other Gov't Agencies. The US Government could grow bigger and wealthier under my plan. The Construction Industry and Auto Industry would also benefit under this plan. VOTE for me as President of the US in the National Election after we have Peace in the Middle East.
