Swedish guitarist, keyboardist, singer, songwriter and composer of usually melodic pop/rock/jazz songs and instrumental music. I produced a lot of music between the age of 15 to 30 and have picked it up again the last years.
On my Artist/Band page (see link to the left) I present some of my "vintage" home recordings as well as a growing number of updated versions and new songs.

Hi Claus, thank you for your new year wishes, I hope you have a great and very successful one yourself. I'm a bit down with a flue at the moment, not a good start, but hope I can kick it in the next few days.
YOu were so lucky to see one of my favourite bands, "The Moody Blues" must have been a highlight for sure.
I really like that Breeze Cool song at the top, gives me the Al Dimeola vibe which is cool, cause I love his playing.

Hello Claes,
I have been away from Soundclick for a spell due to family medical emergencies and other non-musical stuff, I am glad to see that you are still deeply involved with the music, but I couldn't let the holidays pass without stopping by to wish you the Season's very best to you and yours, and a New Year filled with new great music. Take care.
Warm regards,
Leonard B

Claes, I love the Moody Blues, wish I could have seen them, they were one of my most favourite bands, still are. Al Stewart in concert and the Rose Theater in Brampton. At first, his guitar player came on stage doing a solo. I was expecting a band of course with Al. Then came Al, to my disappointment, that was all, just the two of them, no band. To my surprise though, they were both great. They covered a lot of his songs like Year of the Cat and Border etc....and I didn't miss the band, they were that good. Al's voice and singing was as great as ever, his guitar player fantastic. Al was a great entertainer as well, with a great sense of humour and the gift of the rap. In conclusion, even without the band he was well worth the money.

Hi Claus, it was so nice to hear from you my friend, sorry if there was a delay in answering, I was away. Your music sounds as great as ever and your new song, "shi*man" love it. Your voice reminds me so much of Al Stewart, (Year of the Cat) saw him live recently, I like the softness and sweet quality of it all and your instrumentals of course always superb.

[last edited on Mon Jul 28, 2008 @ 01:57 PM] Hi Claes,
I came across your page while surfing around. I listened to "Conclusion Time" and enjoyed its peaceful melody. Although I'm an addict with acoustic guitar, I have great respect for classical as well. I once had the privilege to hear Christopher Parkening in a concert. It was an incredible experience!
Also, Yes - Aaron and I are brothers.

[last edited on Sat Mar 15, 2008 @ 10:19 AM] Hi Claes, how are you my friend? Hope you're having a great weekend. Thank you so much for adding my latest song, "Parasailing" to your station, really appreciated. Have a great day and stay in touch." Hide and Go Seek" is a very relaxing, gently moving slow tune, really enjoyed it. I have a song by the same name but it's a vocal one and have not recorded it yet, I wrote it a long long time ago in the 70s, perhaps I'll do that when my instrumental cd is done.

Hej Claes!
Always good to hear from a fellow Swede! My family came to the United States in 1892 from Munkadal area, on the West coast. There are still a few Flodstrand's in Sweden. Good music to you.
Happy New Year,
David Floodstrand
