It is important that we not forget the times when we did not have. We must remind ourselves daily that the Lord is no respect of person. He gives me the same mercy he gives you. The same grace that your neighbor gets is the same you get. He dosen't have a cup where he gives you more grace and mercy just because of your works alone. ( See Ephesians 2:8-9)
I believe that is why it is important to develop a sincere relationship with Christ. Don't just get involved at church but get involved behind closed doors. What are you doing for your brother/sister next door? Lets get real with each other, people are dying and I'm not just talking about physical death, I'm talking about spiritually. We have Christians that have been Christian for years since they were kids and are talking about "Where is God now, there is no God" The Lord warned us about these times. Just because they are here and they are getting worse does not mean there is not still work to be done. I don't know about you, but I wanna serve my Lord.
He's been too good to me to give up now and I'm ready to serve.
Our prayer should be "Use me Lord, however you want"
It can be a scary thing to go there especially if we have our own personal dreams and visions we want to accomplish.
Yet, if I were you, I would say Yes.
For its with true obedience, is when we can truly see the face of God.
Besides just being completely in love with God by obeying, we get to reap the harvest of sowing and serving him.
